‘Idiots’ give injury to Madhavan

A knee injury that occurred eight months ago has now made Madhavan to be on rest. The actor, on the advice of his physician and physiotherapist, is on complete rest in his Mumbai apartment spending time with wife and son.

“I lost balance when I was shooting for ‘3 Idiots’ before eight months. Though I had pain in knee, I didn’t get any proper treatment as I felt it would be okay in some time. But it is paining a lot these days and I am even unable to walk,” he says.

Saying that the doctor and physiotherapist he had consulted asked him to be on rest, the actor says he is following it with all sincerity. “Because, I want my knee back in old condition.”

Madhavan says the break is helping him otherwise. He is spending quality time with son Vedanth and wife Saritha, which would not be possible without the “help” of injury. That’s what we call blessing in disguise.
